So I am trying to catch up on my blog posts and even though this shoot was awhile ago – Super Bowl Sunday as a matter of fact, I knew I had to publish photos with Amanda. Amanda was a joy to photograph. As you can see she is a Ravens fan so I know she was thrilled with the game later that night! In addition to her Ravens look, we had a chance to photograph some winter fashion shots. Here are few photos:

…and the winner is Roberta

Last week, I had a chance to photograph my friend Roberta. I had been editing for 3 days straight so I jumped at the chance to back away from my computer screen. Roberta is amazing – she is insanely talented and I honestly think she masters everything she tries. She is a writer, actress and a fellow sports enthusiast. Best of all, she says the most randomly hilarious things so you can’t help but laugh when you are around her. She wanted a few head shots done for he next great adventure, so we did a few basic black/white shots and then mixed it up with a few outdoor shots. Here are a few shots from our session:

Neha – Bridal Beauty

Last Sunday, I photographed Neha for a Bridal shoot in Alexandria. We shot a few indoor headshots but it was such beautiful day it was hard to resist the urge to take a few shots outside. Neha had three distinct looks -(1) a sweet simple spaghetti strapped dress (2) a beautiful vintage dress accented with veil made of flowers and a (3) a dress chock full of ruffles.

The most striking thing about Neha besides her beautiful skin was her warm friendly smile.

Here are a few photos from the shoot:

Lately I had have the opportunity to photograph some amazing people. Ashley is no exception. I loved photographing Ashley – she has this girl next door quality about her that is so endearing. We did three definitive looks – (1) Ashley rocked the leather jacket (which was my favorite) (2) a sweet vintage look and (3) a transitional look featuring a lightweight blouse and some super cute shorts.

This was part of a charity shoot at Liquid Light Images in Sterling, VA. The shoot was so much fun ūüėČ Here are a few photos from the shoot. Enjoy.

Kai’s Baby Shower

Kai and her husband will welcome a new life into the world shortly and while the sex of the baby is still a secret, there’s no doubt that the baby will be surrounded by love. ¬†In an elegant celebration, family , friends and sorors travelled from all over the country to shower Kai with love, well wishes and gifts. ¬†Organized by All RelEvents¬†Inc, Kai’s baby shower emerged into a fun, memorable celebration. With just purple and green as the inspiration idea, All RelEvents created beautiful table settings and floral arrangements and my personal favorite, a wreath made of diapers (decorative and practical!) ¬†Guests were treated to a mexican themed dinner and a dessert platter filled with an array of sweet treats, many adorned in purple and and green. ¬†Toasts were made, games were played and the gifts were revealed. ¬†But perhaps the most touching moment was when Kai emotionally thanked all of her friends for hosting the shower. ¬†It was such fun to share in this event – can’t wait to meet Baby K…
